Minor Digital Audio Design educates young professionals who develop and apply concepts for the purpose of the production of music and sound. This may vary from the designing of tones to a complete sound design (auto branding), a sound composition (theater, movies), or musical production (electronic music).

The Minor teaches you to become a composer/producer for platforms such as: movies, television, theater, dance, commercials, animation, documentaries, radio, internet or DVD-Rom. You use music for conceptual and production means.

What are you going to learn?

  • Composing of music or the designing of a complete sound concept for, for example, a movie, a museum exposition, a theater performance, or for other events.
  • Audio Branding: How does a brand name or product sound? (the translating of a commercial campaign to audio)
  • Conceptually, to think in a audio composition and work production. Becoming familiar with hard and software in relation to music and sound.
  • Knowledge and skills around the production process, research and development, teamwork, reporting, publishing and presenting.

Entry requirements

The minor is aimed at all students who come into contact within their professional perspective with digital media, film and electronic music.

Beside:

  • Fascination with music, sound and sound. You want to combine With New technologies and applications.
  • Technological knowledge and some experience with digital media.
  • Original and creative, have a sound of their own (mind ) and you can work well together.
  • Ability to work in a project.
  • Can empathize with the different music and media disciplines come together in projects.
