Profile of the programme

The Brand Design program gives you the opportunity to improve your understanding and skills in the fields of Branding and Concept Development to an advanced level. 

The course 'Branding' covers the key topics in branding, advertising strategy and concept development and shows you how to develop campaign images that connect to your personal inspiration. 

The course 'Future Lab' lets you delve deeper in scenario-based design and related topics. In the course 'Lab Next' you have the freedom to explore a topic of your choosing in the fields of branding and concepting. Finally in the 'Design Studio' you can use the knowledge, skills and inspiration that you have gained in a project for a client.

In short: an inspiring program in which you can make things you would want in your portfolio, and where you learn to recognize and argue the quality and beauty of branding and communication.

To enter into this program you should have some design-related experience but most of all the will to explore and find your design inspiration.

The program gets you ready to confidently start working in a Creative Business environment.

Course guides

This program is newly developed in 2018. The course guides will become available by may 2018. If you have questions about the program please get in touch with the coordinator.

In this course you will develop brand strategies and turn them into concepts and visualizations for campaigns. You will learn how to cooperate as a creative team and work with the latest methods used by design and advertising agencies.

Lab X
Lab X is our ‘Future Lab’ where you will learn about scenario-based design, scenario-planning, trendspotting and probing. You will use these design techniques in the studio that is also part of the program.

Lab Next
In ‘Lab Next’ you will learn how to use creative research techniques to gain a better understanding of a topic of your choosing in the field of Brand Design.

Design Studio
In the Design Studio you will apply the things you have learned in the other courses to solve a communication design problem for a client
