What do you need to enter this programme? And what can you expect when you apply? In this section you'll find all you need to know!

The Brand Design programme gives you the opportunity to improve your understanding and skills in the fields of Branding and Concept Development to an advanced level.

In the Brand Design module you will learn how to redevelop an existing brand and how to design a new brand. You will use the most important brand design theories and models. You'll also learn how to develop brand executions based on an existing brand concept. With this knowledge and these skills you will be able to contribute to a (re)branding process.

In the Campaign Design module you will learn to analyse campaigns, strategies, concepts and the executions based on them. In addition, you will learn to recognise your own creative preferences and use them as a basis to create campaign images that are portfolio-worthy.

During this specialisation, there is also time to work on your personal skills in the module Reflective Learning. The skills you'll be working on are necessary to operate successfully in an advertising agency or a brand design agency.

And finally, throughout the specialisation we invite many specialists from agencies to give workshops and lectures about subjects such as art direction, copywriting, visual research, portfolio building, and many more.

In short: an inspiring programme in which you can make visuals that will stand out in your portfolio, and where you learn to recognise and argue the quality and beauty of brands and campaigns.

The programme gets you ready to confidently start working in a Creative Business environment.

Practical information

When you move to a different country to study, there are lots of things to arrange. For instance, where will you live, how much are the costs? Visit our practical information page to help you prepare your stay. It is also important to start arranging a living space as soon as possible. Our housing pages will help you on your way. A student living in the Netherlands needs about € 800 - 1000 a month to cover living expenses, such as housing, food and transportation. This includes insurances – health insurance is mandatory.
